WHO WE ARE

No Drama Theater is a non-profit theater company located in New Providence, NJ. Our mission is two-fold. Our main mission is to promote young performers and theater artists with ages ranging from middle school through college. Our secondary mission is to promote local charities by partnering with them to raise funds through our theater performances. Our season currently consists of one main stage show during the summer months. Check back frequently to see our ever-expanding performance opportunities and platforms as they occur.

GOALS & DEDICATION

Last year’s Mainstage production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised)” was originally conceived of as a fundraiser to benefit NP Public Art in their desire to create a Seward Johnson sculpture installation in front of the New Providence Memorial Library.

In the meantime, however, the founder of NP Public Art and long-time New Providence resident, Marjan Saniee, tragically lost her long battle with cancer and passed away this past spring. With that in mind, the production took on a whole new meaning as it was transformed into not only a fundraiser but a dedication to Marjan and her passion for public art in New Providence.

Looking to the future and to fulfill our goal of offering community theater as a means to fundraising for local charities, we’d like to hear from you. If you are a member of a local charity and would be interested in exploring this exciting option of fundraising, contact us.

Future plans include providing performance space and opportunities for other high school and college repertory companies to perform in conjunction with our fundraising activities.  If you have a production or repertory group and are interested in being partnered with a local charity, let us hear from you! Update: After a successful run, our production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown met the $2300 goal for NP Public Art!
